Fasting That Pleases the Lord
Pastor Paul Grimes invites the church to fast as the Holy Spirit leads (Isaiah 58:1 through 8).
Complete fast: water only, no more than three days.
Daniel fast: water, fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, and unleavened bread. No processed foods or sugar.
Partial fast: a complete or Daniel fast for part of the day, such as 6:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
Blessing Bags for Our Neighbors
The Department of Women is assembling Blessing Bags for people experiencing homelessness. Please help by donating:
Hand sanitizer, soap, shampoo, comb and brush, travel size tissues, washcloths or wipes, deodorant, new socks, disposable razors, shaving cream, sanitary napkins, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, baby wipes, diapers, adhesive bandages, bottled water, and nonperishable snacks.
